COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMS
Helping You Keep Your Eyes Healthy
Eye exams are recommended for children and seniors every year and for adults every two years. During your eye exam I'll update your glasses and contact lens prescription, thoroughly check your eye health and screen for diseases that can affect your vision such as dry eye, glaucoma and cataract. I’ll also be looking for signs of systemic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Retinal photos are also included in all adult eye exams, so we’ll take advantage of this amazing technology to monitor for problems and allow you to see a different side of yourself!

CONTACT LENS FITTINGS

No two pair of eyes are the same so you deserve to enjoy a pair of contact lenses that are specifically selected for you! We'll chat about your visual needs and find the lens that will work best for you and keep your eyes healthy. Running low on your contact lens supply? Let us re-order them for you!
Never worn contacts before? No problem! I'll make sure you have all the information you need and the confidence to wear and care for your contact lenses like a seasoned pro.

LASIK CONSULATIONS
The First Step to Saying Goodbye to Your Glasses!
Before referring you for surgery, I'll make sure you are a good candidate by assessing your vision and ensuring your eyes are healthy. We'll discuss your options and what you can expect before and after your procedure.
DIABETIC EYE EXAMS
The Care You Need
The importance of annual eye exams for people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes cannot be understated. Your eyes can be affected by your blood sugar before any visual impact occurs. But don't worry - I've got you covered! I'll thoroughly examine your eyes and communicate with your family doctor to ensure you receive the best possible care. And of course, your yearly diabetic eye exam is covered under OHIP.

EMERGENCY EYE CARE
For All the Things You Didn't See Coming
Sudden changes to your vision can be scary and the cause is not always clear. Come in for a check up so that I can identify the problem and point you in the right direction. Be prepared for anything - I may recommend additional testing and follow ups or refer you to a specialist.
PEDIATRIC EYE EXAMS
Parents - Let Me Take This One Off Your Plate!
80% of classroom learning is visual and many students may be unaware that their vision could be better. Annual eye exams for school aged children will help your child learn and excel. But let's back up - your child's first eye exam should be before they ever step into a classroom (or anywhere else!) Eye exams can begin as early as 6 months of age to screen for problems that may affect development early on.
